Mary Ann has been a Travel Consultant for over 30 years. She started in 1973 with Provident Travel and left to go to Ames Travel. Ironically, in 2006, Provident Travel purchased Ames Travel so she’s here to stay! She has visited so many destinations over the years(China, Israel, Kenya, The Baltics, Linblad to Central America, Hawaii, etc…) that her expertise can work for you in planning your next adventure.
October '08 Mary Ann went to Ireland with the IrishTourist Board and traveled from Shannon to the
northwest and visited Galway, Donegal, Adare and the Connemara Coast. While there,
she had the wonderful opportunity to personally experience a few of Virtuoso's and
Ireland's top castle hotels... Adare Manor and Ashford Castle.
September ’08 Oh Canada! After visiting Montréal, Mary Ann took VIA Rail to Quebec City to board
Holland America’s newest ship, the MS Eurodam. Enjoying the beautiful New England
coastal towns along the St. Lawrence seaway to New York City.
September ’07 Mary Ann did a stopover in Australia visit the exciting city of Sydney for a few days
before traveling with Abercrombie & Kent to New Zealand to experience their fabulous
lodges and spectacular scenery. From the north island to the south island, vistingNew
Zealand’s best lodges and Virtuoso properties such as… Mollies, Treetops Lodge,
Eikhardt’s Private Hotel, the Langham Hotel, Longland Farm, Solitaire Lodge, Matakauri
Lodge, the Sofitel and the George Hotel rounded out a wonderful trip.
2006 she traveled to the exotic destinations of Peru and Jordan. Off to see the “Wonders of Peru” with Abercrombie & Kent from Lima to the extraordinary Machu Picchu and staying at the best properties there… Mira flores Park Hotel, Hotel Monasterio and Machu Picchu’s own Sanctuary Lodge. With Abercrombie & Kent and the Cincinnati Art Museum to Jordan visiting the ancient cities of Amman and Petra with lavish properties like The Four Seasons in Amman.
